Mero Hall

The Mero Hall was built in 1969 using the innovative MERO steel tube connector system.Over the years, the 20 steel supports had rusted and the load-bearing capacity of the structure was jeopardised. The columns were therefore reinforced and given a bright blue corrosion protection coating.

The approximately 1,800 square metre MERO Hall will be available as an art and cultural space for performers and artists in the Spreepark of the future. It was already used as a venue for interim uses as part of the Spreepark Laboratory in 2023.
